“The print quality was second to none. I would have given this 5 stars for just that but, the problem I had was the website option. I went with a Die Cut sticker and wanted them to be round. It originally came set to circle on the website but, when I went to a different size, it made it a square sticker with rounded edges. I did not catch this. When I received the proof, it was this same style but, since I had not used this before, I wasn't aware that my round logo would be printed on a square. I think there needs to be more clarity in the order process so that this type of thing does not happen. Again, the quality of the product was better than I have ever seen at this price point and will be using them again with the correct option the next time around.”

“I created 3 different die-cut stickers with Next Day Flyer, great price, and easy to work with. My only complaint is the image on the computer is more bold than when printed. I feel some of the font used in my stickers looked clearer online and not as clear or BOLD in person. But next time, I will use a thicker font since that seems to be the case.”

“Very simple website to use. Pay attention to the descriptions for the die-cut selections. The pictures shows a round sticker. But you need to select a round sticker (Scroll up or down until you find it). I ended up with a square sticker with round corners. Customer service was helpful in pointing out my mistake and offered to correct it. However, the cost for a round sticker is much more. Since budget is a top priorety for me, I am making the square sticker work. In the future, I will re-design my sticker for a square shape.”

Die-Cut Stickers: A Cut Above

Die-cut sticker printing creates stickers in the shape you choose. First create your design, then print die-cut stickers in the shape and size that fits your idea. This makes these stickers unique to you and your message.

Use die-cut stickers for promoting your brand or a variety of other popular applications including promotional giveaways for bands, logo stickers, sports teams, and larger organizations. They’re easy to apply to any smooth, hard surface.

The custom shapes work perfectly for applications where you need your stickers to stand out or fit in a very specific space. Sizes are customized to your specifications, making it possible to create high-quality, full-color stickers in smaller or larger sizes than the standard options offered by other printers.

Die-cut stickers come printed on your choice of paper stock, crack-and-peel vinyl, and transparent stickers. Use the vinyl stock for more vibrant colors and applications that require more durability and resistance from exposure to rain, weather, sunlight, and abrasion. Use paper stock for a more muted look and for regular indoor use.

Unlike other printing services, all our print jobs are manually inspected to ensure they’re true to your design specifications. This means your die-cut stickers will always look just as you envisioned them.

How are Die-Cut Stickers Made?

When we make die-cut stickers, we use special blades that punch out custom shapes on sticker paper, similar to how cookie cutters make shaped cookies by punching them into dough.

A similar method is kiss-cutting, where the blades only slightly touch the sticker paper so the shapes are cut on the adhesive top layer, but the backing sheet remains uncut.

A third type is cutting to size, which just means that stickers are individually cut, rather than staying on sheets or rolls.

Die-Cut Stickers FAQs

What’s the difference between 70 lb. and white vinyl?
70 lb. paper is the sticker material we use for general purposes. This usually means indoor applications with no exposure to water or moisture. White vinyl on the other hand, is one of our strongest sticker materials. It is tear-proof, waterproof, and withstands refrigeration. It also has a UV coating that adds an extra layer of protection from bumps, scratches, and UV exposure.

What’s the difference between individually-cut and roll stickers?
Individually-cut stickers are ideal for orders of small amounts. It is applied by hand. These work great as giveaways during events, concerts, and tradeshows. Roll stickers are best for bulk orders. They come in rolls of 250 stickers or more. With the use of a dispenser, you can rapidly apply the die-cut stickers on hundreds of products with ease.

I’m having trouble with my artwork. Do you offer design services?
Yes, we do. We have a dedicated team of designers who will be able to assist you in creating your own die-cut sticker design. It can be completely from scratch, or building upon an existing artwork. Call 855-898-9870 to contact our design team.

Questions

Thank you for your question! The 70 lb sticker is recommended for general sticker application it is not water resistant and it has a soft sheen finish whereas the vinyl sticker has a mirror like finish. Also it is the thickest and most durable material that we offer for cut to size as it is water and oil resistant. You can send a request for a sample kit to customercare@nextdayflyers.com--this should help you get a better idea and feels of the materials we offer.

We can definitely do the star shape! If you are ordering roll stickers, you can select "Custom" for the shape so that we can cut the stickers to the shape that you need. We may need to make some adjustments on the final shape to meet production requirements (e.g. round sharp corners and deep curves, create a general outline around texts, etc.). You can request a PDF proof to check if the adjustments will work for you. If you are ordering individually cut stickers, there are specific shape options available for the different sizes (star shape is currently not offered). You can click on "Die-cutting" to check the available shapes for the size you need. Note that "All Rounded Corners" is a rectangle with 1/8" radius round corners. If you need a custom shape for individual stickers (we may still need to make adjustments with the final shape), you can submit a quote request here: https://module.nextdayflyers.com/secure/custom-printing-quote You can also contact our customer service team at 855-898-9870 for assistance.
