Choose from two (2) durable vinyl materials for your backdrops:
Standard 13 oz. scrim vinyl has a matte finish, which provides great visibility even in bright light. This popular option is economical and lasts three to five years even in the outdoors.
18 oz. matte vinyl is thicker than the standard vinyl banner material and is puncture resistant. The smooth, durable surface is great for outdoor and indoor use. This is our strongest vinyl material and lasts up to five years outdoors.
It’s easy to customize and print any product on our website. Just select your preferred product specs such as size, quantity, material, and printing turnaround on the order calculator. You can choose to upload your own artwork file or create a layout from scratch using our online design tool. When you checkout, our resident print experts can also review your design for free to make sure it’s ready for printing.

Choose the Right Backdrop Size
We offer five (5) standard sizes that range from 60” x 96” to 240” x 96”. Our three (3) most popular sizes:
- 120” x 96” (10’ x 8’ feet) is a favorite size among our customers. This backdrop size fits a big group of up to 8 people and suits large parties and events.
- 60” x 96” (5’ x 8’ feet) fits only one to two persons at a time, perfect for solo and couple portraits. This backdrop size is often used for small studios and photobooths.
- 96’ x 96’ (8’ x 8’ feet) fits a small group of 4 to 5 people in one photo.
Your personalized backdrops can also include hemming with or without grommets, and pole pockets (that can fit a 2” diameter pole) at the top and bottom.
Design Tips for Custom Backdrops
Use crisp high-resolution images. Because your backdrop design will be enlarged for large viewing distances, your image resolution needs to be in 300 dots per inch (dpi) or higher to prevent degradation and pixelation.
Save in CMYK color mode. Computers use an RGB color mode that is different from the CMYK color mode used by printers. Changing your artwork to CMYK will ensure the accuracy of the colors in the finished printout.
Make sure the fonts are embedded. If you add text to your design, check that your fonts are embedded so the final results are crisp and accurate.

Does my custom backdrop order come with a stand?
You can choose to include a stand with your order or just the banner. Be sure to select your preferred option using the order calculator under the Display Options dropdown.
Note: Banner is shipped separately from the stand. Only the stand is shipped in a bag.
How soon can I receive my order?
This depends on your selected printing turnaround and shipping option. You can click Get Delivery Estimate at the bottom of the order calculator and enter your 5-digit ZIP code to check what options are available for you.
How much does it cost to print backdrops?
This depends on your selected size, material, and quantity. You can get an instant quote on our website using the order calculator. Just select your preferred backdrop specs on the dropdown options and our website automatically generates the estimated price and cost per unit.
Can I print on both sides of the backdrop?
Yes. Be sure to select Full Color on the Back Side dropdown option in the order calculator.
How do I get my design proofed for free?
On the product page, select Upload Your File. After uploading your design, select I Need a PDF Proof under the proofing option. Our prepress team will create a PDF proof and email you as soon as it is ready for you to review. Your files will not be queued to print until you approve the proof.
