Choosing the Right Food Packaging for Your Products

The main role of food packaging is to keep your food product safe and protected from environmental factors and other external elements. It also helps in maintaining the flavor, aroma, shape, and texture of the product. Food packaging can also be used as a marketing and branding tool. With well-designed product packaging, you can ensure that your product will stand out from the competition and be more eye-catching to your customers. These are the main reasons why choosing the right food packaging for your business is crucial to your success.

Food products can come in many sizes and shapes. If you want to know what type of food packaging is the most suitable for your product, here is a handy guide to our boxes and pouches:

Stand-Up Pouches
Stand-up pouches are flexible food packaging that are suitable for a wide range of products such as beverages, personal care products, pet food, vitamins, coffee, and so much more. They come in durable and puncture-resistant materials that ensure the protection of your food products from oxygen, odor, and bacteria. Stand-up pouches typically include easy-open tear notches and a heavy-duty zip lock closure to help keep the freshness of the product.

Flat Pouches
Flat pouches are designed for efficient and economical food packaging. They are easy to use and ideal for a variety of food products in different sizes and shapes. You can use flat pouches for packaging products such as coffee, tea, cheese, dried or smoked meat, chocolates, and cookies. These pouches are sealed with heat at the side or bottom, preventing oxygen and bacteria from entering the packaging and helping preserve the quality of your product.

Mailer Boxes
Mailer boxes are made from sturdy materials that have a high weight capacity. They come in your preferred dimensions, making them ideal for storing different kinds of food products. Use mailer boxes as food packaging for products like cakes, pizza, brownies, chocolates, donuts, and dried food items. The best thing about mailer boxes is that they can be custom-designed to highlight your brand, therefore providing a memorable unboxing experience for your customers.

Shipping Boxes
Shipping boxes use the same durable materials as mailer boxes. The only difference between the two is the size. Unlike mailer boxes, shipping boxes can be used to transport multiple items at the same time. They also have a much larger weight capacity than mailers. You can use them for delivering vegetables, fruits, frozen food products, and even for transporting beverages such as wine, beer, sports drink, juices, and more.

Frequently Asked Questions

How can I make my food packaging stand out?
The best way to make your food packaging stand out is by creating a unique and eye-catching packaging design. You can add beautiful images, a compelling tagline, vibrant colors, and more to make your design distinctive.

Can I create my own design for my boxes on your website?
Yes, you can. Our online design tool lets you add graphic elements to your packaging design including photos, text, colors, and shapes. To access the tool, click Design Your Shipping/Mailer Box Online just below the product calculator.

What is the best packaging to use?
It depends on your product as well as your preferences and needs. Boxes are generally better for transporting heavy or multiple food products. Pouches are more suitable for lightweight food items.

Do you provide free product samples?
No, we don’t. However, you can order as few as one (1) box or pouch from our website if you want to see the finished product first before placing a large order.

What is the turnaround time for your custom boxes and pouches?
The standard turnaround time for our mailer and shipping boxes is 20 to 25 business days, which can be expedited to 6 to 8 business days for an additional fee. Our custom flat and stand-up pouches, on the other hand, have a standard printing time of 10 business days.
