How To Design Your Custom Box
From packaging to shipping -- your products matter more than ever. NextDayFlyers makes it easy to create your own custom boxes with our online design tool. View a 3D simulation of your design with dielines to indicate where your box will be cut and creased. This allows you to design every flap and all sides of your packaging.
Ready to bring your branding to another level? Follow these steps to design and print your custom box with NextDayFlyers.
Step 1. Select your custom box type.
You can choose to design product boxes, mailer boxes, and shipping boxes for your brand.
Step 2. Choose size and material.
Use the order calculator to customize your box size, material, printed sides, and the quantity. This will also automatically generate an instant quote for your order. When you’re done, click Design Your Mailer Box Online.
Step 3. Design your custom box online.
The Design Canvas on the left shows how your box would look when laid flat. This is where you add the elements of your design. It reflects the box dimensions selected, including the dielines for both the outer and inner sides of the box. You can hover over each box section and click to start designing.
The 3D Preview on the right shows the assembled custom box. This automatically updates as elements are being added to the design canvas.
Step 4. Add your design elements.
Use the Left Toolbar to add text, background colors, shapes or lines, and lines, and modify the custom box specs. Use the Top Toolbar to copy and delete design elements, and edit placements and angles of your images, shapes, or text.
After you save your design and confirm your order, someone from our pre-press team will check and make sure your designs are ready for printing.

Can I order a printed sample of my custom box?
Yes, we can produce a sample box based on your specifications. Just set the quantity to 1 on the order calculator of the box product page. Our production turnaround time for a sample box is 3 business days.
Do I see a proof before you print my custom box?
Yes, we can send a free PDF proof file before confirming your order for production. This file allows you to see how your boxes would look like as a finished product. You can check your design and the dimensions for any errors that need revisions. We always recommend that you select free digital proofing to ensure your custom boxes will print according to your specifications.
I want to upload my own box design. Do you have templates?
We can send you a PDF dieline for your specific box dimensions. This file can be used on any offline design software like Adobe Illustrator. It shows you the position of each panel including the areas where your boxes will be cut and creased. To request for a template, click Order Now & Receive a Dieline Template in the order calculator.
What if I can’t find the kind of box that I want?
No problem. We can also work with special requests for sizes and other finishes. If you have something else in mind that’s not on the options available, request for a custom quote by emailing boxes@nextdayflyers.com and a box specialist will contact you within 24 hours.
How soon can I receive my custom boxes?
NextDayFlyers can produce box orders in just 10 to 12 business days. We offer one of the quickest production turnarounds for custom boxes ordered online. Note that printing turnaround does not include weekends, holidays, and shipping transit time.
What shipping methods do you offer?
