Choosing the Correct Material for Your Kiss-Cut Stickers
The choice of material for kiss-cut stickers will depend on your intended use. Will it be used strictly in an indoor setting, or will the sticker be exposed to the elements? Will it be completely dry, or will moisture and refrigeration play a part? Answering these questions will help you make the right decision.
- Indoor – The 70 lb. label is the perfect material for indoor use. It is one of our most popular sticker materials. You can coat your kiss-cut sticker with a matte, gloss, or high gloss finish. Left uncoated, it’s writable with a permanent ink marker.
- Outdoor – We recommend using the white vinyl sticker material for outdoor use. This is our most durable sticker material. It is made of 4 mil white vinyl and is resistant to tears, moisture, and outdoor exposure. It has a UV coating that adds an extra layer of protection from scratches and scuffs.

Kiss-Cut Stickers FAQs
What’s the difference between kiss-cut and die-cut stickers?
Like die-cut stickers (also known as cut-to-size and individually cut), the kiss-cut format is also trimmed per piece and shipped in stacks. But unlike the cut-to-size format, the kiss-cut sticker initially comes in a standard square shape, with your design at the center. We will only cut the design through the adhesive, not the backing. When you pull the sticker, the backing around your sticker shape stays intact with the border.
Can I write on the stickers?
We recommend choosing the uncoated 70 lb. label material adhesives if you wish to write on the stickers.
Do you offer sticker templates?
Yes, we offer blank dielines you can use to get started on your design. You can find these on our Templates tab. Just choose the sticker size you want to design and download your preferred file type.
