Short Run Posters Fit into a Tight Schedule

If you're building a targeted promotional package, adding short run posters to your materials is a good way to round it out. Even if you are short on time or funds, you can still make large format posters work.

Short run posters that are intended for outdoor promotions are best made from UV-resistant materials. So even if the print posters are exposed to the sun for a long period of time, the print won’t fade and the colors will remain vibrant. This makes large format poster printing a viable option for advertisements – for your products, services, business, or organization – that will run for weeks or months.

Here's how:
When you only need a small number of prints and therefore can't justify the initial costs of offset printing, short run poster printing is definitely the way to go. If you've tried to print them offset, you know that you often need a large volume for the process to be economical, making it wasteful for low volume print runs. A short run, on the other hand, can be printed at a very low cost per piece while ensuring great quality.

Short run posters are great for reaching out to a local audience. They also offer a ton of flexibility when it comes to sizing. Print your posters in smaller sizes such as 11” x 17” or 12” x 18” if you are promoting to a limited number of people like in coffee shops or bookstores. Go big with the largest size available, which is 40” x 60”, if you want to quickly make an impact.
Short run posters are versatile marketing tools and can also be used in the following events or promotions:

  1. Local elections
  2. Food drive
  3. Parades
  4. School or sporting events
  5. Store sale
  6. Church gatherings
  7. Community meetings

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does it take to print short run posters?
The standard turnaround time for our short run posters is three (3) business days. However, if you only need a few posters, next-day or even same-day printing is possible.

Do you offer professional design services?
Yes, we do. Call 844-380-9962 to reach out to our in-house Design Services Team. One of our Design Services Representatives can help you with fixing a design or creating an entirely new one for your short run posters.

I want to use my own artwork. What are the things that I need to consider before I upload the file on your website?
To ensure the best print results, make sure the image resolution is 300 dpi or higher. Your artwork should also be in CMYK color mode, not RGB. You should have a 1/8? bleed and important content should be within the safety zone, which is 1/8? inside the trim marks. Doing this will ensure that there are no white borders along the paper edges and that the text and elements don’t accidentally get cut. Finally, the file should be in PDF format or any of our other accepted file formats: AI, DOC, EPS, JPG, PNG, PSD, PUB, TIF and XLS.

How will I know the estimated time of arrival or ETA of my order?
Once you are done selecting your print options, click Get Delivery Estimate at the bottom of the price calculator. Note that turnaround time does not include shipping and that transit time depends on your location.

Is there a minimum order quantity required for your short run posters? No, there isn’t. You can place an order for one (1) or two (2) short run posters and have them ready for shipping within the same day as long as your order is in by 10 am.

How can I make my own poster? After selecting your preferred printing options for your short run posters, you can click Create Design Online to go straight to our online design tool.
