Canvas Prints: Lively Colors on High-Quality Display

Take out your old photos and digital artwork and have them printed on stretched or rolled canvas. Canvas printing allows you to fill up your empty walls with stunning images for everyone to see. You’ll easily create a professional gallery right in your own office or home. You can also display your company’s portfolio, such as past ad campaigns, print marketing initiatives, and photos of your products in your lobby to showcase your work.

The Difference Between Rolled or Stretched Canvas

Order the correct print canvas for your home or office gallery. Here’s how to distinguish between the two types:

Rolled canvas is suitable for prints that need to be transported from one location to another. Perfect for museums, galleries, and other similar establishments that change their exhibits on a seasonal basis. Sizes start at 8” x 10” and go as big as 40” x 60” for detailed, high-resolution images or artwork. It’s made of cotton canvas; the standard material artists have their work printed or painted on. Add a 2-inch border to set off the entire design or have the entire background bleed into the edge on the print canvas. You can add borders or have your canvas cut to size.

Stretched canvas, on the other hand, sees your artwork installed on a frame for easy hanging. Gallery wrapping places the artwork around the side of the frame, similar to what you see in museums and other exhibits. If the framed artwork needs to blend with the wall or a bigger backdrop behind it, the gallery wrap extends the design so both elements they work as one. Order a print canvas for your photos, painting, or artwork in any of the four available sizes, from the smaller 16" x 20" to the largest at 24" x 36".

Caring for Canvas Prints

Canvas prints are an elegant way of displaying photos and art. To ensure they last a long time, canvas prints still require proper care and maintenance. Here are a couple of tips for making your prints last for years:

  • Avoid direct sunlight – Even with high-quality printing, ink will fade if placed in direct sunlight for long periods of time. Even if UV-resistant ink is used for printing, direct sun exposure will make your canvas fade quicker. As much as possible, display your canvas prints in areas with indirect sunlight.

  • Avoid moisture – Canvas is made of fabric which can retain moisture in humid environments, making it stretch over time or worse, be a breeding ground for mold. Try to display your canvas prints in a cool and dry place to avoid moisture from building up.

  • Dust, not wipe – If dust builds up on your canvas prints, use a feather duster to clean the surface and the frame. Don’t use abrasive cleaning materials or cloth as much as possible since it may damage or smear the surface.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I hang my canvas print?
Follow these steps to hang your rolled or stretched canvas print:
  1. Mark the area where you will hang the canvas on the wall. The top portion should stay a little above the mark.
  2. Nail the hook onto the mark placed on the wall. It’s best to nail it at an angle so the wall will bear most of the canvas’s weight.
  3. Attach a bracket to the back of your canvas.
  4. Hang it on to the nail. Step back to see if the canvas is aligned properly.

How soon can I get my canvas printed?
We can print your canvas as soon as the next business day after you’ve made the order. Select “Next Business Day” as your printing turnaround, which is the number of days allotted to print your order. Note that this does not include holidays and weekends. It also does not cover the shipping transit time.
