Merkle, a customer relationship marketing agency, and Chief Marketing Officer Council, a network of corporate marketing leaders, announced the winners of the first ever Marketing Innovation Awards for their superior customer engagement marketing.
The awards focused on how to market while optimizing the customer portfolio. They were awarded in celebration of the accomplishments of companies, brands and marketing leaders who utilized smart technology to drive Integrated Customer Marketing.
The winners were announced at the Merkle 8th Annual CRM Executive Summit in San Diego, California. The summit included speeches from leaders in marketing, breakout sessions and one-on-one guru meetings on how to maximize the lifetime value of customer relationships.
The panel of judges consisted of academic authorities, publishing magnates and marketing executives. They evaluated the entries across six categories: customer retention and loyalty, digital engagement and eCRM, innovation in multi-channel mix optimization and measurement, social media innovation, digital integration, and global integration and strategy. Top honors winners included Humana in customer retention and loyalty with their REAL campaign, and Dell in global integration and strategy for their 90-Day Program.
