Print Industry Still Strong in Brochures and Promotional Products

Promotional products continue to be an effective tool for businesses looking to establish their brands. Some promotional product companies, such as the one operated by Jeff Lederer in Bridgeport, Connecticut, have achieved significant growth in a short amount of time by helping businesses with brand recognition, according to the Connecticut Post.

CEO of the company, Rick Brenner, told the news source that promotional products are cost effective tools for businesses that want to create a permanent reminder of their name or brand. The promotional items act as a permanent billboard. The company is in the top 40 for the leading supplier of promotional products, valued as an approximately $50 million a year business, and still growing.

The Salt Lake Tribune recently reported that the Historic Park City Alliance in Utah has recently published a new visitors brochure, which includes a map and information on the town's recreation, shopping, dining and business options for visitors and residents. The brochure also contains historical information and modern trivia.

"The new brochure design highlights the look, feel and branding of the Historic Park City area," said Alison Butz, executive director of the alliance. "We felt a graphic layout would give Main Street visitors a better sense of what Historic Park city's atmosphere and culture are all about."
