Kitty Litter Cake

—————————————– Halloween Party Warning —————————————————-

Before creating this recipe, you will need to prepare a simple cake mix to make it work. You will also need kitty litter liner, a kitty litter box, and a kitty litter scooper.

If you want to save time, we suggest using a fast and easy cake mix such as this: http://2.thekrazycouponlady.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/11/Betty-Crocker-Yellow-Cake-Mix.jpeg

————————————————————————————————————————————–

Ingredients

1 box of cake mix, complete with pudding mix

1 package of light-colored sandwich cookies

1 package of Tootsie Rolls

Green food coloring

Directions

1. Bake the cake mixes in a pan, according to package directions and leave to cool to room temperature.

2. Prepare your pudding according to the package directions and place in fridge to chill.

3. Crumble your sandwich cookies in a food processor in small batches.

4. Set aside a 1/4 cup of the crumbled cookies and mix with a few drops of green food coloring.

5. When your cakes are cooled, crumble them into a bowl with half of your plain-colored cookie crumbs and chilled pudding (you probably won’t need to use all the pudding so that it doesn’t get too soggy).

6. Line your kitty litter box with the kitty litter liner and add the cake mixture.

7. Put half of your Tootsie Rolls in a microwave-safe dish and heat until softened. Shape the ends to make them look as gross as possible. Bury them randomly in the cake and sprinkle with the other half of your plain-colored cookie crumbs, and sprinkle a few of the green-colored cookie crumbs over the top.

8. Heat three or four of the Tootsie Rolls in the microwave until they are melted and runny. Scrape them onto the cake and sprinkle with some more of the green cookie crumbs.

9. Heat the remaining Tootsie Rolls until pliable and shape as before. Spread randomly over top of cake mixture and sprinkle with any remaining cookie crumbs. Serve with the kitty litter for maximum gross effect.

  1. I find all of the stuff featured above enticing but that kitty litter box just gives me the creeps. I know it’s psychological and all but it’s made to look like actual litter and that churns my stomach.

  2. It really is foul looking! I am right with you, Wayne, but somehow the kids love the utter grossness of it!

  3. This is really interesting, You are a very skilled blogger.
