B2B magazine announces print marketing award winners

Business-to-business marketing firm Mobium was awarded BtoB magazine's Best Print Campaign recognition. The annual award is the highest in the category of print marketing.

"These are the Emmy’s of b-to-b marketing, and reflect competition from across the country. Naturally in a category where the stakes are so high, you’ll find the biggest (and presumably best and brightest) agencies competing," said Gordon Hochhalter, managing partner of Mobium.

The campaign, titled "Creating a Climate of Achievement," was created for education marketing firm Herff Jones and featured magazine spreads illustrating the firm's ability to make the lives of teachers and academic professionals easier. The spreads featured photographs taken by the company itself, suggesting a more realistic and personal expression than that of stock photos.

The award highlights the esteem associated with print marketing initiatives that have been under threat in recent years by digital and online formats.

"We love spreads because of their capability to dominate a magazine in this era of fewer and fewer print pages," wrote B2B magazine in reference to the award.
