OBJECTIVE:

JOB SUMMARY:
Sets up various types and sizes of conventional and numerically controlled stretch presses by selecting, locating and securing large upper and lower dies or form blocks, selecting work clamps according to size and shape of material, adjusting jaws to hold work, and clamping and aligning arms according to length of part to be formed. This position is for our New Jersey facility.
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Press Support:
Ensure that press is properly supplied with paper
Maintain ink, water and chemical inventory and levels
Maintain clean work area, sweeping and mopping and general cleaning required
Assist in setups as needed
Assist in wash-ups as needed
Responsible for loading and re-skidding of materials from the press if the situation requires
Feeder Support:
Prepare the press for a run by verifying job specs and setting up the press accordingly
Responsible for seeing that correct stock is at press
Continually Inspects the fountain solution, inking systems
Maintain the proper operation of the feeder
Solve problems such as paper jams to avoid excessive downtime.
Monitors the paper throughout the run. Prepare and install new loads when necessary.
Work in conjunction with the press operators to complete preventative maintenance of the press.
Assist maintenance personnel when necessary in maintenance and making repairs to press.
JOB REQUIREMENTS: Must meet the following minimum requirements:
High School diploma or GED equivalent.
Must have excellent communication and writing skills, and be capable with a computer (Basic knowledge of Excel and Word are a must)
Perform accurate data entry of the work completed and materials consumed to help maintain proper inventory of paper, ink and coatings and consumables. Record the usage and spoilage as directed from your press supervisor and fill out the various daily usage reports

Adheres to and promote all safety policies and procedures including, but not limited to the proper handling of hazardous waste, lock out - tag out rules and hearing and eye protection policies.

Responsible for the safe and effective operation and maintenance of facility engineering systems in support of print manufacturing activities within prescribed manufacturers specifications. Perform skilled mechanical and electrical maintenance work in the installation, operation, maintenance, modification, service and repairs of printing presses, support equipment, and building systems. Utilizes skills to identify and repair equipment failures and performs routine maintenance on production equipment, to ensure safe and efficient operation of equipment and production of quality products which meet customer and business requirements. Maintain, repair, and install plant equipments and machinery; maintains equipment and service records; participates in special projects; and performs a variety of technical tasks relative to assigned areas of responsibility. This position is for our New Jersey facility.
Minimum Education:
High school education.
Five years of experience related to the operation and maintenance of Facility or Mechanical/Electrical equipment.
Use of platform lifts and/or forklifts.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Stores and maintains all facility related documentation, maintenance manuals, records and operating procedures. Assists in the generation of required documentation including training manuals, SOPs, validation and calibration.
Assist the Operation and Quality Groups in the commissioning and validation of manufacturing systems.
Performs or ensures the completion of all mechanical repairs and preventative maintenance on all equipment in a quality and timely manner to ensure the safe and efficient operation of equipment.
Diagnoses causes of non-compliant systems operation and completes repairs/adjustments to return systems to original operating specification. Reports and maintain a log of all non-compliant conditions with explanation of cause, effect and repair of systems as returned to normal.

Performs both internal and external building maintenance, including maintenance of sidewalks and entranceways during inclement weather, painting, carpentry and light bulb replacements.

The shipper is responsible for the accurate completion of every order that is shipped from our facility by accounting for all production on job tickets and by cross referencing job tickets versus shipping labels and documenting all information (tracking numbers, will call labels, locations, etc.) on the corresponding blue lines. The shipper must also master carton all large orders correctly by adding filler paper to all packages that require it and sorting all packages to appropriate location for final pick up. This position is for our New Jersey facility.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Be able to stand on your feet for a minimum of an 8 hour period.
Must be able to operate a manual pallet jack.
Must be able to lift a minimum of 25 lbs at one time repeatedly throughout the scheduled shift.
Assemble boxes for shipping when needed.
Use the Fed Ex Ship Manager program in order to produce shipping labels.
Use job tickets and blue lines for completion of every order.
Shipper must daily fill out the Shipping Log with all the information required and give the shipping log to warehouse lead for our records.
Keep split rack in order for traceability of split shipments.
Sort packages onto appropriate location for pick up.
Fill out Green sheet in order to report any defective or poor quality product to Quality department.
Communicate with warehouse leads any issue that needs attention.
Must keep work area clean of all debris and waste.
Must be able to use the computer to navigate through interchange to retrieve order related information.
Warehouse maintenance such as sweeping, cleaning, restocking workstations and removing waste from the facility.
